Emma Watkins (the former Yellow Wiggle)

The Junior and Senior Dance Stream students had a surprise Zoom visit from alumnus, Emma Watkins, who spoke with them about her experiences after The McDonald College.

The students enthusiastically plied her with many questions about what courses she took after graduation and her Wiggles journey. We were all keen to hear how the Uber Eats advertisements were made.

Emma then teamed up with another McDonald College graduate Lucy Wiggan (who was also a dancer with the Wiggles) to continue working with the Junior students. They have since been learning the choreography to a song called ‘Juliette’ by the Korean boy band SHINee who are known as the ‘Princes of K-pop’.

This week, we received the news that Emma after eight years of touring with The Wiggles is hanging up her Yellow skivvy to spend more time with her family and pursue new adventures. We congratulate you on a colourful career to date and wait with bated breath to see what vibrancy you bring into the world with your next move.
