Dance evolution

Before the High-Performance Season kicked in, this term began with a bang for the Dance Stream students. 

Our Choreographic Evening was held on Wednesday 26 July. Both Junior and Senior students took part in this event with 16 dance items, ranging from solo’s, duos or trios represented on the evening.  

The Senior students opened the Choreographic Evening with their Jazz Dance routine ‘Chelsea Rodgers’ and the evening finished with a solo by Safia Nassar in Year 12. 

All students who participated did an outstanding job and certainly made The College proud.  

All dance teachers spent the term working hard to complete and polish all dance routines for the NIDA performances, guiding students through their routines in Contemporary, Lyrical Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz Dance and more.
