Junior Acting: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Our Junior School actors recently performed their own take on a well‑known Roald Dahl children’s book. They worked together to shape the story, learn their lines and bring each character to life in a simple and honest way.

The students approached the project with steady effort and a clear sense of teamwork. They made choices about how to present the story, how to move on stage and how to share the humour and imagination that make Dahl’s writing so popular. It was good to see them take ownership of the performance and feel comfortable in front of an audience.

We hope this experience encourages them to keep reading more of Dahl’s books. His stories give young readers plenty to explore, and they offer ideas that can spark future performances.

Well done to all students involved. Their work showed growing confidence and a willingness to try something new.
