Peach Tree Smash Cut: A Hilarious Look at Movie Making Mayhem!
Our amazing Year 7-9 Acting students recently brought the house down with their side-splitting production of “Peach Tree Smash Cut.”
This uproarious play takes us behind the scenes of a chaotic film set. Follow a bumbling crew as they try (and often fail) to create a cinematic masterpiece under the ever-watchful (and sometimes exasperated) eye of their director. From clashing personalities to technical disasters, the road to cinematic glory is paved with side-splitting mishaps.
The Blackbox Theatre was filled with laughter throughout the performance, a testament to the brilliant acting by our talented young thespians. Each student delivered their lines with perfect comedic timing, bringing the hilarious script to life.
A special shout-out goes to Alex Lee-Rekers, the mastermind behind this comedic gem. Not only did Alex write the play, but they also directed it with a keen understanding of the students’ age and acting abilities. The result? A pitch-perfect production that had everyone in stitches.
Congratulations to all the Year 7-9 Acting students for their fantastic performance! You had us laughing out loud from start to finish.
