Alumni

We are so proud of all our alumni whether they are by the barre or in the boardroom; on stage or out on site; in the lab or managing the lights; on the court or in a courtroom on the TV or teaching at a school. We take it as a compliment that they love to stay in touch. If you’re a past student, please let us know what you’ve been up to.

Excellence in performing arts training

Emma Watkins, the former Yellow Wiggle, is arguably one of our most globally known graduates yet, she is just one of many success stories to come out of our unique school:

A rigorous academic education

Because we place an equal emphasis on students’ academics, graduates of The McDonald College are twice as prepared when they leave school and find they have a wealth of options to choose from.

Often our graduates choose completely different paths to what they specialised in at school.

  • Dimity Clancey reports for A Current Affair
  • Mariam Saab is a late night television presenter on ABC News
  • Hollie McKay covers humanitarian and diplomatic crises from the frontlines of international war zones.
  • Micheal Zhang (who achieved an ATAR of 99.95) is now studying mathematics and economics at Harvard on scholarship.

All keeping good company with our graduates who are working as doctors, lawyers, teachers and business leaders such as

  • Dr Rewena Keegan is a Breast surgeon
  • Valerie See, Upper gastrointestinal tract surgery fellow
  • Sarah Pain, Lawyer
  • Gabriella Cozzupoli, Lawyer
  • Sarah Loch PhD, Executive Director.
