Dressed as a silver-clad angel, she performed “Under the Southern Skies” while suspended in the air, creating a lasting memory of the games.

Following her unforgettable Olympic performance, Nikki released her debut album titled “Follow Your Heart” in 2001. The album featured hit singles like “Strawberry Kisses,” which became an instant success and established her as a pop sensation. Nikki’s music appealed to a broad audience, particularly to a younger demographic. Her hit single resurfaced in 2023 when the Matildas made it their anthem during the Women’s FIFA World Cup.
