Audition Day gives prospective students the opportunity to work with our teachers in engaging workshops, and establish how each student can benefit from our high-performance pathways. You’ll get to experience the same nurturing environment that our students experience each day.

HOW TO REGISTER

You can express your interest in auditioning . Simply complete the Audition Expression of Interest Form and our Registrar will be in touch.

Or you can complete the Application for Enrolment Form prior to attending the audition day. The Application Fee must be paid prior to Auditions. 

Prospective students must nominate the performing arts discipline they wish to audition for. You are welcome to audition for more than one discipline. The five disciplines are:

  • Acting
  • Classical Ballet
  • Dance
  • Music and
  • Musical Theatre. 

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Acting:

  • Prospective students are to prepare a short monologue of 1 – 2 minutes in length
  • Monologues should be age-appropriate
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing

Classical Ballet: 

  • Prospective students will participate in an open classical ballet class
  • Wear appropriate classical ballet attire
  • Females to bring pointe shoes, if applicable

Dance: 

  • Prospective students will participate in a dance class. The class will include a brief warm-up, jazz, and tap combinations.
  • Wear appropriate dance attire and bring jazz shoes (and tap shoes, if applicable).
  • Students can audition for Commercial Dance and/or Contemporary Dance. Our Senior Contemporary Dance Program (for Years 10 – 12 only) is presented in partnership with Sydney Dance Company.

Music: 

  • Prospective students are required to perform one piece of music of their choosing on their primary instrument. 
  • You should bring your own backing tracks (device, USB, or an accompanist).
  • Instrumentalists may bring an accompanist or play unaccompanied.
  • Wear smart casual attire or your school uniform. 
  • Prospective students will be allocated their own time slot.

Musical Theatre: 

  • The Musical Theatre audition will be in the format of a vocal audition.
  • You should bring your own backing tracks (device, USB, or an accompanist).
  • Applicants auditioning in Musical Theatre must also audition in a second discipline, such as Dance or Acting. 
  • Wear smart casual attire or your school uniform. 
  • Prospective students will be allocated their own time slot.

ELITE TENNIS PROGRAM

Working with our partners at Voyager Academy of Tennis we liaise directly with each family with regard to acceptance to the Elite Tennis Program. Please contact our Registrar for further information or visit our Voyager Tennis Academy page.
