Keith Urban on Sunrise

Our students were given the opportunity to sing as a backing choir for Keith Urban during his live performance on Sunrise promoting his new album, Graffiti U. This was an excellent opportunity for the students to experience a live television set, as well as work with one of the world’s top country music stars.

Students were organised into a choir, and at a rehearsal prior to the event, Keith’s musical director remarked how professional they sounded. This attitude continued over into the performance, with all the students arriving at the studio bright and early (4am), eager and ready to go. After a quick sound check, students were shown to the green room, where they waited patiently to head into the studio to perform.

The performance itself was a huge success, with Keith congratulating the students live on air, as well as individually after the segment. Congratulations to all the students involved for their dedication and effort to make this a memorable performance. A full clip of the performance, Parallel Line, is available below.
