Student Leaders attend the Knox–Ravenswood Wellbeing Conference
Students Soph, Tanushree and Lenita represented the College at the Knox–Ravenswood Student‑Led Wellbeing Conference, a day designed to explore wellbeing through student voice, shared experiences and practical learning.
In their reflection, they wrote:
“Today, we had the wonderful opportunity to engage in the Knox–Ravenswood Student‑Led Wellbeing Conference. We listened to inspiring presentations from James Castrisson, an Australian adventurer who trekked from the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole, and Alex Moffat, a neuroscientist and mentalist. We participated in student‑led interactive workshops, gaining insight into what wellbeing really means, its contributing factors and how to apply this to our lives and the lives of others.”
Throughout the day, students connected with peers from other schools, took part in discussions, and explored how empathy, mindset and positive action can shape healthier school communities. The conference encouraged them to think about wellbeing not as a single idea, but as something built through relationships, awareness and everyday choices.
Thank you to our student leaders for representing the College with maturity and enthusiasm, and thank you to Ms Baker for accompanying them.
