80,000 thanks

On Saturday 29 May, more than 200 guests joined us at the bi-annual Principal’s Gala Dinner fundraiser at Aqua Luna.

The event was a wonderful opportunity for the College community to come together and enjoy an evening of fine food, exceptional student performances and dancing.

We raised an incredible $80,000.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who supported the College on the evening and to those who donated prior. The evening was hosted by our wonderful Graduates Katia Fuscaldo-Zoffoli and Bradley McLennan (nee Brown), and our hard-working organisers of the event were Agatha Locantro (President of the P&F) and Sarah Minol (Graduate and ballet teacher). The auctioneer on the evening was Derek Peat (retired Head of English).

It is fundraising events like this that have enabled the P&F to raise over $200,000 over a period of six years. This combined with a Federal Government grant of $300,000 and College’s Capital Expenditure has allowed us to complete the unisex K – 12 bathrooms in the academic building in addition to other renovations. The Music Floor bathrooms, maintaining the configuration of separate Girl’s and Boy’s facilities, will begin during the coming holidays with the aim of finishing mid-Term 3.
