Athletic Excellence: Celebrating Student Success Across CDSSA, AICES, and CIS Events

Term 3 has been filled with remarkable achievements from our students, with outstanding performances across multiple sporting events.

CDSSA Athletics Carnival
The College was proudly represented by 21 students at the CDSSA Athletics Carnival. Among the standout performers were Jeffrey C (Year 7) and Lily P (Year 12), who placed first in all their events. Their efforts, along with those of their peers, led to eight students qualifying for AICES Athletics.

AICES Athletics
At AICES, seven students continued to represent the College with pride. Jeffrey C once again stood out, qualifying for CIS in three events: high jump, long jump, and 80m hurdles. Cedric S (Year 12) also delivered a strong performance, placing 5th in the 18 Boys long jump—narrowly missing a podium finish by just 10cm.

CIS Athletics
Jeffrey continued to shine at CIS Athletics, claiming first place in the 80m hurdles. His determination and focus were evident as he stood proudly atop the podium. Although he didn’t place in long jump and high jump, Jeffrey gave a solid effort and was pleased with his overall performance—a reflection of his growth and sportsmanship.
