Year 12 Chemistry students have been completing their Depth Study this term, analysing the salt content of biscuits and determining the amount of calcium carbonate in a Quick-Eze tablet by titration. Students have enjoyed exploring everyday substances, developing solid analytical skills, and learning about chemistry in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Year 10 has been learning about Newton’s Laws and designing an egg lander to protect an egg when dropped from a certain height. These laws are fundamental as they tell us exactly how objects will move and behave.
