Celebrating 100 Years of Dance and the Ann McDonald College of Dancing
The Ann McDonald College of Dancing marked its 100th anniversary earlier this term with a celebration that brought our community together in a warm and genuine way. The Fraser Centre was transformed for the occasion, and it became a place where students, families, staff, and friends gathered to recognise our shared history and enjoy an evening of dance, friendship, and fun.

“I was truly delighted to see our community come together to celebrate our shared history and, even more importantly, to enjoy such a wonderful evening of dance, friendship, and fun in our beautifully transformed Fraser Centre.” Maxine Kohler, Co-Founder and Principal
Students took to the floor to show the social dance skills they have been working on, and their confidence and effort were clear to everyone watching. Maxine shared how proud she was of them, saying, “Thank you to all the students who demonstrated their newly master social dance skills. I was so proud of you.” Their participation set the tone for the night and reminded us of the energy and commitment that continue to shape the college.
