Our Tennis Team Wins NSW High School Championship

September brought a phenomenal achievement for our McDonald College Tennis Team, as they claimed the NSW High School Championship title in Albury — a proud and unforgettable moment for our school community!

🏆 Boys Team – Champions!

Our Boys Team delivered a flawless performance, winning 30 out of 30 matches across five ties — a dominant display that left no doubt about their championship status. Their consistency, focus, and teamwork were nothing short of exceptional, making this one of the most impressive runs ever seen at this level.

💪 Girls Team – 5th Place Finish

Our Girls Team also made us incredibly proud, finishing 5th overall — a standout result, especially considering they weren’t originally seeded in the Top 8. Their determination, grit, and sportsmanship were truly inspiring throughout the tournament.

Beyond the competition, the trip to Albury was a memorable experience filled with camaraderie, resilience, and growth. A heartfelt thank you to Voyager Tennis for their continued support, to Connie for joining the team on the road, and to Jake, whose calm and steady leadership helped bring out the best in our players.
