The McDonald College US Tour
Our Senior Students recently embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Los Angeles and New York as part of a Gulliver’s Travels international performing arts tour. Over a period of two exciting weeks, our students participated in a range of workshops and masterclasses, whilst also soaking up the sights, shopping, and the best of Broadway.
Highlights included Disneyland, Broadway Dance Centre, snowball fights in Central Park, performing arts workshops (dancing, music, acting), meeting the iconic Caroline O’Connor, State of Liberty, School of Rock and Dear Evan Hansen to name a few.
Thank you to all of the workshop hosts, organisers and presenters who took our students under your wing and gave them the best possible experience. Thanks also to Paul Young (Head of Music), Dolores Dunbar (Head of Musical Theatre), and Maxine our Principal for getting everyone back safely during the busy holiday period.
