Wins On and Off the Field
Term 2 was a full and productive period for the PDHPE Department. Students took part in a wide range of learning and sporting activities, with strong involvement across all year groups.
A key event this term was the Athletics Carnival. The weather held, students turned up ready to compete, and the day ran smoothly from start to finish. It was a clear display of school spirit, teamwork and house pride.

Year 11 Health and Movement Science students visited PhysX Sports Science Laboratory at Cromer, where they looked at biomechanics in action. They used technology to analyse sprinting technique and study force production and power output. This helped them connect course content with real examples of performance and coaching.
Our Year 7 to 10 Dance students also took part in the 100 Years Celebration of the Ann McDonald Dance School. They performed Ballroom and Latin routines for the school community and guests, showing the skills they have been building in PE lessons.
As Term 2 wraps up, the PDHPE Department is proud of the effort, resilience and sportsmanship shown by students. We look forward to continuing this momentum in Term 3 as students take part in learning that supports health, physical activity and personal growth.
