Youth Grand Prix Australia
This year’s YGP Australia took place in Sydney from Friday 12 – Wednesday 17 September. With Masterclasses held at the Bangarra Dance studios & the Concourse Chatswood, the dancers were treated to classes with international guest teachers including Leanne Benjamin, Damien Welch, Ashley McNeil, Robert Parker, Sarawanee Tanatanit, Miwako Kubots, Grace Holmes, Kenta Kura, Larissa Saveliev, Gennadi Saveliev, Megan Connelly and Ivan Gil-Ortega.
The days were long, beginning at 8:15am and concluding at 9:45pm. 17 students from the College competed and all held their own. They have worked diligently for several months in preparation and have reaped the benefits from their dedication. We are so incredibly proud of each student and their individual achievements. Further to the below places, several students were offered international summer schools or short stay placements. Please congratulate them on their achievements.
