Science Week Under the Stars! 🔭✨

This term, our Secondary School celebrated Science Week a little differently, and a little later than usual. As part of this year’s space-themed program, Decoding the Universe, students from Years 7–10 embarked on an unforgettable cosmic adventure, right here at school. The Fraser Centre was transformed into a gateway to the stars, thanks to a visit from Starr’s Planetarium .

Inside the immersive dome, students were guided through a breathtaking tour of the night sky. They explored constellations, planets, and distant galaxies, and discovered how astronomers chart the cosmos. The experience even delved into the origins of the universe, sparking deep curiosity and wonder.

This hands-on encounter with space science brought classroom learning to life in the most inspiring way. It was a powerful reminder of how science helps us understand not only the world around us, but also the vast universe beyond.
