Passing the Torch: Welcoming Our 2026 College Leaders

Friday, 19 September 2025 – Today marked a significant moment in the life of our College community as we gathered to commission our 2026 student leaders. In a heartfelt ceremony filled with pride, reflection, and anticipation, our 2025 College Captains, Coco and Daniel, officially passed the torch to Arabelle and Angus — our newly appointed 2026 College Captains.

The ceremony was a celebration of the values that define our College. Current College Captain, Coco, spoke with grace and gratitude, reflecting on her journey and the lessons she have learned while serving the student body. Their legacy of compassion, resilience, and dedication will continue to inspire future leaders.

As Arabelle and Angus accepted their new roles, their commissioning was more than symbolic — it was a promise to uphold the spirit of the College and to be voices for their peers.

Alongside them, the 2026 Prefects were also formally commissioned. Each Prefect made a solemn vow to represent the College and its students with honour, empathy, and commitment. Their pledge was a powerful reminder that leadership is not just about position, but about purpose.
