Junior School Swimming Carnival

Towards the end of Term 4, our Junior School capped off their week-long Swimming Program with a very special Swimming Carnival — the only sports carnival our Juniors were able to enjoy this year, thanks to some tricky weather. That made the day all the more meaningful, and the excitement in the air was undeniable.

A huge thank you goes to our small but mighty Junior School team, whose dedication ensured every race, relay, and activity ran seamlessly. Their efforts turned the carnival into a joyful celebration of participation, teamwork, and resilience.

One of the most unforgettable highlights came when a Year 2 student, who had swum each of his races with kickboards, proudly stepped up to join the 50m freestyle relay team. It was a moment that captured the true spirit of the day — showing how powerful it is to give every child the chance to shine and succeed.

Even under the summer sun, the carnival spirit thrived. Parents cheered from the sidelines, some cooling off by dipping their feet in the pool, while the Warcry competition brought energy and laughter to the day.

The Swimming Carnival wasn’t just about races — it was about community, courage, and celebration. It was certainly… a splash!
