Black Comedy – Senior Acting Production, 6 – 8 June

The McDonald College’s Year 10 – 12 Actors are proud to present Peter Shaffer’s, Black Comedy.

Brindsley Miller, a poor sculptor and his ‘influencer’ fiancee, Carol Melkett take a neighbour’s designer furniture without permission to impress a billionaire art collector and Carol’s bombastic father. Suddenly a fuse blows, and the apartment is plunged into darkness. A frantic romp ensues with unexpected visitors, mistaken identities, and surprises lurking in every dark corner. Only we, the audience, can see the action as light and dark are transposed on our stage and the results are chaotic, disastrous, and downright hysterical.

Black Comedy has a running time of approximately 1 hour without intermission and is suitable for audience members aged 14 years and above. This production contains Course Language, Adult Themes and Simulated Alcohol Use.Show less expand_less
