On ANZAC Day this year many Australians gathered at the ends of their driveways, or in their front yards, in reverence for those who have served to protect our country and way of life.
Partaking in this driveway vigil were many members of the College community, who rose to observe a minutes’ silence at dawn and light a candle of remembrance. As candles lit up the dawn and musicians joined together in the last post and reveille, Australians rallied together. This simple act of community connected us all and reminded us of the power of the simple act of reflection and thanksgiving.
The McDonald College family extends its sincerest thanks to all those who have served the nation, in times of peace and war. We will remember you always.
