Karlee Misipeka is a Sydney-based performing artist with over 10 years of professional experience within the industry. Karlee’s multi-faceted career has taken her from the theatre, to stage and screen, with teaching and choreographing also playing an important part of her pursuit.
She has worked with – and has been mentored by – some of Australia’s best including Cameron Mitchell, Matt Lee, Kelly Abbey, Jason Coleman, David Atkins, Caroline Kasper, Chris Horsey, Leah Howard, Jacqui Howard, Marko Panzic, Sarah Boulter, Tim Smith, and Lisa Callingham, just to name a few.
The highlight of her career so far was playing the lead role Diana Morales in the most recent Australian revival of A Chorus Line The Musical. Directed by Baayork Lee, it allowed Karlee to use all her skills as a ‘triple threat’ and perform the Pulitzer Prize winning musical to audiences in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Singapore.
Prior to A Chrous Line, Karlee was a cast member of David Atkins’ Hairpspray The Musical. It played a long run of shows to audiences in both Sydney and Melbourne where she understudied Little Inez and The Three Dynamites. Karlee’s theatre debut came the year after finishing her studies in Disney’s High School Musical live on stage. It enjoyed a run at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney, and she understudied the character Kelsie.

Karlee attended The McDonald College from Years 7 to 10, and TDHS (Brent Street High School) for Years 11 and 12. She then went on to attain her Certificate IV Full-time course at Brent Street Studios. Karlee is currently signed to one of Sydney’s premiere performing arts agencies, Grayboy The Agency.
