PwC Australian Economics & Business Studies Competition 2009
Congratulations to Kerry-Ann Thoo (year 11) and Faris Cosic (year 12) who have both received a High Distinction in the PwC Australian Economics & Business Studies Competition 2009. This competition is run by UNSW and sponsored by PwC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers). This year, more than 8000 students from over 250 schools across Australia participated in this competition.
The PwC Australian Economics & Business Studies Competition challenges secondary students with relevant classroom theory alongside the pressing international and national issues of today.
Kerry-Ann & Faris are amongst the top 3% of students who have achieved outstanding results in this competition. As prize winners, they were presented with a certificate of High Distinction and Prize Money during the Awards Ceremony at UNSW held on Monday 7th September 2009. They are very proud to represent The McDonald College at the awards ceremony and they would like to show their appreciation and thanks to their Business Studies teacher Mrs Sashi Prasad on her excellent tutoring resulting in her students’ success in this prestigious academic competition.
