Emma Watkins wins My Mutation Online Dance Competition
Kelly Abbey announced today that Emma Watkins (2007) was the winner of the My Mutation Dance Competition
CONGRATULATIONS Kate Western Rhythmic Gymnastics State Champion.
Year 11 Student, Kate Western, on track to gain a trial for the Rhythmic Gymnastics 2010 Commonwealth Games Team.

June 26, 2009: Jaynie Seal visited McDonald Performing Arts School today and was treated to an impromtu performance of Michael Jackson classics.
Countdown to China July 2009
The Tianjin International Children’s Culture and Art Festival held every two years in Tianjin, China. The 2009 theme is “Peace, Friendship and Future” and we are lucky enough to be invited again.
Higher School Certificate and School Certificate 2008
Some outstanding results were achieved in the 2008 School Certificate and higher School Certificate. It is a true balancing act for students who dedicate their time and energy between that of a demanding performing arts program and their academic studies. Once again in 2008 The McDonald College has confirmed that students can not only achieve well, but excel academically whilst pursuing their passion for the performing arts.
Ben Wilson Winner 2008 Sydney Film School Scholarship
One of our Students, Ben Wilson was announced the winner of the Robin Anderson Scholarship at the Robin Anderson Film Awards held at Dendy Quays Cinema Circular Quay on 12th November.

Tom Jordan, 2nd Prize ACMF 2008
Tom won SECOND prize in The Australian Children’s Music Foundation Category B for his composition entitled 'Save the Day'.
Rhys Wakefield (ex Student) nominated AFI Award
One of our ex Students Rhys Wakefield has been nominated for a both an AFI Award and an IF Film Award for his role in 2008 film The Black Baloon Directed by Elissa Down.
Billy Boys Farewell 6th November, 2008
After an amazing Sydney Season Billy Elliott heads to Melbourne and we farewell our Billy Boys.
