Welcome to McDonald Performing Arts College

homeThe Ann McDonald College of Dancing trading as McDonald Performing Arts College has been conducting classes in many forms of Dance for the past 80 years. 

The College was established in 1926 by Ann McDonald who, with her husband, John Butt, worked to have Dance recognised as an art form worthy of inclusion in education.  The College is now run by a non-profit community-based company limited by guarantee with parents and community members on the College Council which administers the affairs of the College.

Interested parents may seek nomination to The Parents and Friends Association of The McDonald College who work to raise funds for the improvements of resources and facilities.

The College now provides training for students from 4 years to professional level covering all genre of performing arts through its many courses held after school hours and Saturdays. The program includes classes and individual lessons in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, FATD Tap/Modern, Drama and Acro classes.
