Kate Fitzgerald

Kate Fitzgerald returns to join the faculty in 2010.   Kate Graduated in 1999 with Distinction from The Australian Ballet School’s Advanced Diploma of Dance Teaching. 

She holds an Associate Degree in Dance from The Queensland University of Technology, and was awarded ARAD and Registered Teacher Status by the Royal Academy of Dance.  Kate has also been awarded Diplomas from F.A.T.D. in Tap and Modern and Elementary (Honours) Highland Scottish Dance Dance from ( B.A.L. & N.D.A).  Over the last four years Kate has been the Assistant Head Classical Ballet Teacher, Contemporary and Jazz Teacher and Head Choreographer with La Vive Classique Academy of Dance in Port Macquarie.

In 2000-03 Kate taught in Rose Bay for The Ballet Class being involved in teaching a variety of dance styles and preparing students for Vocational Graded Examinations.  Kate herself was the recipient of many awards in her years of training and performing in Cairns and Sydney.

Kate is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/Secondary Education at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.
