Jane Kesby
Former Soloist with the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Zurich Ballet.
Jane began her ballet training with the Ann McDonald Ballet School & The McDonald College. She completed her studies at the National Theatre Ballet School and with 3rd year at The Australian Ballet School. Her career began with 3 years with The West Australian Ballet under the directorship of Barry Moreland before furthering her career in Europe.
Whilst in Europe, Jane became a Soloist dancing with the Leipziger Ballett, the Deutsche Oper Berlin working with Richard Cragun and Sylviane Bayard and finishing her career with Heinz Spoerli at the Zurich Ballett. Her vast repertoire included works by Heinz Spoerli, George Balanchine, Jiri Kylian, Uwe Scholz, Ronald Hynd, Angelin Preljocaj, Youri Vamos and many more.
Before returning home to Australia, Jane completed The Professional Dancer's Teaching Diploma in London with The Royal Academy of Dance. She furthered her knowledge with a Pilates Instructor course and now teaches in Sydney at the McDonald College and Academy Ballet.
