Cultural Trust

The McDonald Foundation Cultural Trust is a tax-deductible fund listed on the Australian Government’s Register of Cultural Organisations (ROCO), through the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. The Register is established under Subdivision 30-F of Australia’s Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (the Act). Organisations entered on the Register and endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient are eligible to receive tax-deductible donations in accordance with Division 30 of the Act.

The McDonald Foundation Cultural Trust is a philanthropic organisation supporting the promotion of literature, music, performing arts, visual arts, craft design, film, video, television, radio, community arts, Aboriginal arts and movable cultural heritage.

Existing programs supported by The McDonald Foundation Cultural Trust include Premier State Ballet, which is a leading youth ballet company for talented young dancers. PSB is recognised for its production of the classics, having performed a complete Swan Lake in 2009, and Don Quixote in 2010. PBS performances are currently produced at the Parramatta Riverside Theatre

All donations to The McDonald Foundation Cultural Trust are tax-deductible under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. Corporate/business sponsorship will receive promotional and/or advertising services in return for contributions, and are tax deductible to the business as a business expense.
